🍰 Tortellini in Cream Sauce – Ham Cream like from Italy

Ingredients
- 500 g tortellini (chilled section)
- 200 g cooked ham (diced)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 600 ml cream
- 2 egg yolks
- 4 tbsp parmesan, freshly grated
- 1 tsp, level nutmeg
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- 1. Cook the tortellini exactly according to the package instructions.
- 2. Fry the cooked ham briefly in butter in a deep pan.
- 3. Add 400 milliliters of cream and let the mixture simmer gently over low heat.
- 4. Add the cooked tortellini to the pan with the ham-cream mixture.
- 5. Let everything continue to simmer gently.
- 6. Whisk the egg yolk with the Parmesan in a small bowl.
- 7. Add the nutmeg (use less if you don't like the nutmeg flavor so strongly).
- 8. Season with salt and add the remaining 200 milliliters of cream.
- 9. Add this mixture to the pan with the tortellini.
- 10. Continue to simmer until the sauce becomes nicely thick.
- 11. Serve the tortellini immediately.
- 12. The dish is very rich, but the taste is fantastic.
