🍽️ Quick Tomato Sauce – simple & tasty

Ingredients
- 500 g cherry tomatoes (or dates tomatoes, small)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 0.5 medium onion, red
- 5 basil leaves
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- salt
- 40 ml cream
Instructions
- 1. Cut off the hard stem area from the tomatoes.
- 2. Halve the tomatoes and place them in a bowl.
- 3. Finely chop the garlic cloves.
- 4. Sprinkle the chopped garlic over the tomatoes.
- 5. Add one tablespoon of olive oil.
- 6. Place the bowl in the microwave for four minutes (setting 750 Watts).
- 7. Take it out and pour the contents into a blender.
- 8. Finely chop the onion.
- 9. Fry it in a small pan with one tablespoon of olive oil over high heat until it turns slightly brown.
- 10. Add the onions, basil leaves, sugar, tomato paste, and cream to the blender as well.
- 11. Blend everything until smooth.
- 12. Finally, season the sauce with salt.
- 13. Your delicious tomato sauce is ready.
- 14. It pairs perfectly with Spaghetti Napoli or serves as a base for many other dishes featuring tomato sauce.
