Ingredients
- 200 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 70 g butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 500 g low-fat quark
- 150 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 packet vanilla pudding powder
- 1 egg
- 2 egg yolks
- 250 ml cream
- 250 ml milk
- 150 ml oil
- 2 egg whites
- 6 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
- 1. Mix flour, sugar, butter, egg, and baking powder into a smooth dough.
- 2. Line the bottom of a 26-centimeter springform pan with baking paper.
- 3. Grease the sides of the pan.
- 4. Roll out the dough.
- 5. Press the dough into the pan and press the edges up by hand.
- 6. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 7. Stir the quark until creamy.
- 8. Gradually add all remaining ingredients.
- 9. Mix everything well.
- 10. Pour the liquid mixture into the springform pan.
- 11. Bake the cake for 70 minutes.
- 12. Whip the egg whites with a small pinch of salt until stiff.
- 13. Add the sifted powdered sugar.
- 14. Continue whipping until the mixture is shiny and firm.
- 15. Remove the cake from the oven after 70 minutes.
- 16. Spread the egg whites about 1 centimeter thick over the topping.
- 17. Bake the cake for another 10 minutes at the same temperature.
- 18. Let the cake cool slightly.
- 19. Carefully loosen the sides of the springform pan with a knife.
- 20. Let the cake cool on the bottom of the pan for several hours.
