🥤 Moist Red Wine Cake

Ingredients

- 200 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 200 g margarine
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp rum (or rum flavoring)
- 250 g flour
- 0.5 packet baking powder
- 125 ml red wine
- 150 g chocolate shavings
- powdered sugar (or chocolate glaze)
Instructions
- 1. Prepare a loaf pan with a diameter of 30 centimeters.
- 2. Beat the eggs until creamy. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar and beat further until the mixture is airy. Stir in the margarine until a smooth mass is formed. Add the remaining ingredients gradually and fill the batter into the prepared pan.
- 3. Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius top and bottom heat for about 40 to 50 minutes. Check with a wooden skewer to see if the cake is fully baked.
- 4. Dust the cake with powdered sugar or spread it with chocolate glaze as desired.
- 5. The cake stays fresh for a few days.
