  2. 2. Beat the eggs until creamy. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar and beat further until the mixture is airy. Stir in the margarine until a smooth mass is formed. Add the remaining ingredients gradually and fill the batter into the prepared pan.
  3. 3. Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius top and bottom heat for about 40 to 50 minutes. Check with a wooden skewer to see if the cake is fully baked.
  4. 4. Dust the cake with powdered sugar or spread it with chocolate glaze as desired.
  5. 5. The cake stays fresh for a few days.
