  1. 1. Finely dice the onion and press the garlic through.
  2. 2. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pan.
  3. 3. Fry half of the onions and the first part of the garlic in it.
  4. 4. Add the spinach and let it warm up briefly.
  5. 5. Stir in the cream cheese until it has melted.
  6. 6. Season the mixture with a pinch of ground nutmeg, salt, and black pepper.
  7. 7. Heat another two tablespoons of oil in a clean pan.
  8. 8. Fry the remaining onions and the rest of the garlic in it.
  9. 9. Stir in the tomato paste and your favorite herbs.
  10. 10. Roast the mixture briefly until it smells fragrant.
  11. 11. Pour in the pureed tomatoes.
  12. 12. Let the sauce simmer gently for about five minutes.
  13. 13. Finally, season the sauce with salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
  14. 14. Grease a baking dish with some fat.
  15. 15. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on the bottom of the dish.
  16. 16. Now layer lasagna sheets, the spinach mixture, and the tomato sauce alternately in the dish.
  17. 17. Finish the layers with a layer of tomato sauce.
  18. 18. Sprinkle the lasagna with grated Parmesan cheese.
  19. 19. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius convection.
  20. 20. Bake the lasagna for 40 to 45 minutes until golden brown.
