🍽️ Creamy Spinach Lasagna

Ingredients
- 800 g frozen spinach leaves (or fresh, then blanched)
- 2 medium-sized onion(s)
- 2 garlic clove(s)
- 400 g tomato puree
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp mixed herbs (frozen)
- oil
- 350 g cream cheese (light)
- 100 g parmesan
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- paprika powder
- lasagna sheets to taste
- fat for the dish
Instructions
- 1. Finely dice the onion and press the garlic through.
- 2. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pan.
- 3. Fry half of the onions and the first part of the garlic in it.
- 4. Add the spinach and let it warm up briefly.
- 5. Stir in the cream cheese until it has melted.
- 6. Season the mixture with a pinch of ground nutmeg, salt, and black pepper.
- 7. Heat another two tablespoons of oil in a clean pan.
- 8. Fry the remaining onions and the rest of the garlic in it.
- 9. Stir in the tomato paste and your favorite herbs.
- 10. Roast the mixture briefly until it smells fragrant.
- 11. Pour in the pureed tomatoes.
- 12. Let the sauce simmer gently for about five minutes.
- 13. Finally, season the sauce with salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
- 14. Grease a baking dish with some fat.
- 15. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on the bottom of the dish.
- 16. Now layer lasagna sheets, the spinach mixture, and the tomato sauce alternately in the dish.
- 17. Finish the layers with a layer of tomato sauce.
- 18. Sprinkle the lasagna with grated Parmesan cheese.
- 19. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius convection.
- 20. Bake the lasagna for 40 to 45 minutes until golden brown.
