  1. 1. Separate the eggs. Carefully lift the egg whites away from the egg yolks.
  2. 2. Beat the egg whites with a mixer until stiff and foamy.
  3. 3. Place the egg yolks in a large bowl.
  4. 4. Add all remaining ingredients except the apple to the bowl.
  5. 5. Mix the batter with the mixer until smooth.
  6. 6. Gently fold the stiff egg whites into the egg yolk mixture with a spoon.
  7. 7. Make sure the air bubbles in the batter remain intact.
  8. 8. Peel the apple.
  9. 9. Cut the apple into small cubes or thin slices.
  10. 10. Mix the apple pieces into the pancake batter.
  11. 11. Heat some oil in a non-stick pan.
  12. 12. Place one portion of batter into the hot pan.
  13. 13. Fry the pancake on both sides until golden brown.
  14. 14. Remove the pancake from the pan when it is fully cooked.
  15. 15. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
  16. 16. Leave out the apple if you do not want pieces in the batter.
