🍽️ Grandma's Endive Salad

Ingredients
- 1 endive
- 150 g bacon cubes
- 1 small onion(s)
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 pinch(es) sugar
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- 1. Slice the endive into thin strips and wash them thoroughly. Then place the leaves in warm water for a few minutes. This removes the bitterness and makes the flavor milder.
- 2. In the meantime, peel the onion and dice it into small cubes. Fry the bacon cubes in a pan without adding extra fat until crispy. For the dressing, mix all remaining ingredients well together and season to taste.
- 3. Spin the salad dry and mix it with the onion cubes and the dressing. Finally, scatter the crispy bacon cubes on top and enjoy your salad.
