Ingredients
- 400 g flour (whoever wants, can use whole wheat flour)
- 750 ml milk (low-fat)
- 1 pinch(es) salt
- 3 large egg(s)
- 1 splash mineral water
- butter (for baking)
Instructions
- 1. You might think: Who needs another pancake recipe? But trust me: It's worth it!
- 2. Mix flour, milk, eggs, and salt with a hand mixer until smooth and bubbly. Let the batter rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
- 3. Take the batter out of the fridge, add a good splash of sparkling water, and stir briefly.
- 4. Heat the stove to the highest setting and add some butter to the pan.
- 5. For even results: Take the hot pan off the heat and swirl the butter around. Then add a large ladle of batter and swirl to spread it evenly.
- 6. Wait patiently until the bottom is golden brown and the pancake is firm. Test gently with a spatula. If it releases easily, flip it and cook the second side golden yellow.
