Ingredients
- 250 g Butter
- 250 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla Sugar
- 5 Egg(s)
- 375 g Flour
- 0.5 packet Lemon Zest (grated or Citroback)
- 5 tbsp Milk
- Icing Sugar (for dusting)
- 2.5 tsp Baking Powder
Instructions
- 1. Beat the butter with a mixer until creamy.
- 2. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar and mix everything well.
- 3. Stir the eggs into the mixture one by one.
- 4. Fold in the lemon flavor extract or the lemon zest.
- 5. Add the sifted flour and the baking powder.
- 6. Stir everything with the milk to form a smooth batter.
- 7. Grease three baking molds (e.g., lamb or bunny shape) well.
- 8. Coat the greased molds with breadcrumbs.
- 9. Fill the molds only up to two-thirds with the batter.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (180 degrees with convection).
- 11. Bake the cakes in the oven for about 40 minutes.
- 12. Carefully remove the baked figures from the molds.
- 13. Let the cakes cool completely on a wire rack.
- 14. Dust the cooled figures generously with powdered sugar.
