Ingredients
- 800 g pork (lean, turkey breast or chicken breast)
- 0.3 cup lemon juice
- 0.5 cup soy sauce (dark)
- 3 tbsp garlic
- 1 onion(s)
- 0.25 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp pepper
- 3 tbsp sugar
Instructions
- 1. Add the juice of one lemon, soy sauce, finely diced garlic, finely diced onion, ketchup, pepper, and sugar into a sealable container.
- 2. Choose a container large enough to hold all the meat skewers.
- 3. Stir the marinade ingredients vigorously until well combined.
- 4. Cut the meat into small pieces and thread them onto the skewers.
- 5. Place the skewers into the marinade.
- 6. Let the skewers marinate overnight to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat.
- 7. Decide whether you want to keep the garlic and onion pieces on the skewers.
- 8. If you do not like the pieces, carefully remove them from the skewers.
- 9. Grill the skewers on the grill or pan-fry them.
