Ingredients
- 600 g pork loin (or pork fillet, sliced (turkey or chicken also works))
- 120 g sour cream (or crème fraîche)
- 120 g ham cubes (raw)
- 1 medium-sized onion(s)
- 40 g cheese, grated (optionally reduced-fat)
- 2 tsp oil
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
Instructions
- 1. Season the schnitzels and fry them briefly in some oil.
- 2. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees with top and bottom heat.
- 3. Place the meat in a heatproof dish and spread it with sour cream (use crème fraîche for a creamier texture). Slice the onion into rings and distribute them along with the ham cubes over the meat. Finally, sprinkle everything with some cheese.
- 4. Place the dish in the hot oven for about 10 minutes until the cheese has melted.
- 5. Oven potatoes (since the oven is already on) or pasta with a cream sauce go well with this.
