- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 10 basil leaves
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 dash Tabasco
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 ciabatta (whole)
- 4 leaves romaine lettuce
- 8 slice(s) bacon
- 2 ball(s) mozzarella (sliced)
Instructions

- 3. Blend 8 basil leaves together with mayonnaise, garlic, Tabasco, a pinch of salt, and lemon juice until you have a smooth paste.
- 4. Slice the ciabatta bread lengthwise and remove some of the inner dough to make room. Spread both halves with the basil mayonnaise and top with lettuce leaves.
- 5. Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy, crumble it, and distribute the pieces over the lettuce.
- 6. Place the tomato slices and mozzarella on the lettuce. Drizzle the olive oil-balsamic mixture over it. Tear the 2 remaining basil leaves with your fingers and sprinkle them on top. Cover the sandwich with the top half of the bread.
- 7. Cut the finished sandwich into portions and serve.
