Ingredients
- 200 g flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp oil
- 110 ml water
- 200 g sour cream
- Salt and pepper
- Nutmeg
- 2 onion(s)
- 100 g bacon (in thin strips or cubes)
Instructions
- 1. Put flour, salt, oil, and water into a bowl.
- 2. Mix the ingredients into a smooth dough.
- 3. Knead the dough until it no longer sticks to your fingers.
- 4. If necessary, add a little more flour.
- 5. Let the dough rest in a quiet place for at least 30 minutes.
- 6. Stir the crème fraîche (a sour cream) until smooth.
- 7. Season the cream with salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg.
- 8. Peel the onion.
- 9. Halve the onion.
- 10. Slice the onion into thin strips.
- 11. Lightly dust a work surface with flour.
- 12. Roll the dough very thin with a rolling pin.
- 13. Place the dough on a baking sheet or a baking stone.
- 14. Spread the crème fraîche mixture over the dough.
- 15. Distribute the onion strips evenly on top.
- 16. Spread the bacon over it.
- 17. Preheat the oven to at least 200 °C top and bottom heat.
- 18. Bake the tarte flambée for about 20 minutes.
- 19. Serve the tarte flambée with a glass of chilled white wine.
