  5. 5. Transfer the entire contents of the pan into a large cooking pot.
  6. 6. Add the diced cucumbers and tomatoes to the pot.
  7. 7. Deglaze the vegetables with two glasses of Letscho (a sweet-sour tomato and cucumber canned stew).
  8. 8. Pour in enough water so that the mixture is creamy but not too thick.
  9. 9. Let the Soljanka simmer for about 30 minutes until the meat is tender.
  10. 10. Adjust the soup to taste with more water, ketchup, or spices if needed.
  11. 11. Prepare small bowls of crème fraîche or sour cream for serving.
  12. 12. Serve the Soljanka with garlic baguette from the oven or fresh baguette from the bakery.
