  1. 1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into quarters.
  2. 2. Dry the potato pieces thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Place the potatoes in a large bowl.
  4. 4. Add the spices and mix everything well by hand.
  5. 5. Add the oil and stir well again.
  6. 6. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet.
  7. 7. Do not grease the sheet extra, as the oil is sufficient.
  8. 8. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top and bottom heat.
  9. 9. Place the sheet on the middle rack.
  10. 10. Bake the potatoes for 30 to 40 minutes.
  11. 11. Turn the potatoes every 10 minutes.
  12. 12. Gently loosen the potatoes from the sheet if they stick.
  13. 13. Mix the sour cream with the lemon juice.
  14. 14. Add the spices and herbs to the cream.
  15. 15. Stir the dip ingredients well.
  16. 16. Optionally add some garlic.
  17. 17. Serve the potatoes with fish or chicken thighs.
