  3. 3. Add the tomato and sauté briefly.
  4. 4. Sprinkle in cumin, coriander, and garam masala, mix well.
  5. 5. Add chickpeas and bring to a boil with water.
  6. 6. Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
  7. 7. Season with salt and serve.
