🍑 Caramelized Peach Custard

Ingredients
- 800 g Peaches (ripe)
- 100 g Sugar
- 300 ml Whole milk
- 3 Stk. Egg yolks
- 1 EL Lemon juice
- 1 Stk. Cinnamon stick
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (356 °F) top/bottom heat.
- 2. Wash the peaches, halve them, and remove the pit.
- 3. Whisk the egg yolks with half of the sugar in a bowl.
- 4. Heat the milk with the cinnamon stick in a saucepan until it is almost boiling.
- 5. Pour the hot milk slowly into the egg yolk mixture while stirring constantly.
- 6. Add the lemon juice and stir.
- 7. Place the peach halves with the cut side facing up in a baking dish.
- 8. Pour the milk-egg mixture carefully over the peaches.
- 9. Sprinkle the remaining sugar evenly over the peaches.
- 10. Bake the custard for 25 to 30 minutes in the oven until the custard is slightly set.
