🍲 Creamy Onion Soup Bowl with Grilled Chicken

Ingredients
- 400 g Onions (finely sliced)
- 300 g Chicken breast (sliced)
- 600 ml Chicken broth
- 200 g Potatoes (diced)
- 100 ml Heavy cream (15% fat)
- 20 g Butter
- 1 TL Thyme (dried)
- nach Bedarf Salt and pepper
- 100 g Croutons (toasted bread)
Instructions
- 1. Heat the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- 2. Add the sliced onions and thyme. Cook for 15 minutes until soft and golden brown (caramelized).
- 3. Add the diced potatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat.
- 4. Simmer the soup for 10 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
- 5. Stir in the cream and season with salt and pepper.
- 6. Meanwhile, pan-sear the chicken strips with a little oil for 4 minutes per side.
- 7. Pour the soup into bowls, top with croutons and chicken, and serve hot.
