  1. 1. Steam the broccoli in 40 ml of boiling water for 5 minutes until al dente.
  2. 2. Blend the broccoli in a food processor with the garlic and 10 ml of olive oil into a coarse paste.
  3. 3. Season the broccoli paste with salt.
  4. 4. Place the ciabatta slices on a baking tray and spread them thinly with the basil pesto.
  5. 5. Spread the broccoli paste evenly over the slices.
  6. 6. Place the bruschetta under the preheated grill (or oven at 220°C) for 3 minutes until golden brown.
  7. 7. Remove them, drizzle with remaining oil and sprinkle with chili flakes.
