🍝 Spectacled Cannelloni with Spinach

Ingredients
- 16 Stück Cannelloni tubes (dry pasta)
- 300 g Fresh spinach
- 200 g Cottage cheese
- 40 g Parmesan
- 2 Stück Garlic cloves
- 500 g Passata (strained tomatoes)
- 2 EL Olive oil
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 Prise Nutmeg
Instructions
- 1. Boil the cannelloni tubes according to package instructions until al dente (firm to the bite).
- 2. Wash the spinach and wilt it in a pan with one spoonful of olive oil until soft.
- 3. Squeeze the wilted spinach with your hands to remove excess water.
- 4. Mix the spinach in a bowl with the cottage cheese, half of the grated Parmesan, salt, nutmeg, and pressed garlic.
- 5. Fill each cannelloni tube with the spinach mixture.
- 6. Heat the remaining olive oil in a baking dish and spread a thin layer of passata.
- 7. Place the filled cannelloni closely next to each other in the sauce.
- 8. Pour the remaining passata over the cannelloni and sprinkle the rest of the Parmesan on top.
- 9. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
- 10. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the surface is golden brown.
