🥪 Bourbon Toast Sandwich

Ingredients
- 4 Stk bread (thick toast slices)
- 4 EL lentil ketchup (or regular ketchup)
- 4 Stk edam cheese (slices)
- 2 Stk hard boiled eggs (sliced)
- 30 g arugula
- 1 Prise organic bourbon vanilla extract
- 20 g butter (for frying)
Instructions
- 1. Boil the eggs in a pot of water for 9 minutes. Take them out of the water, peel them, and slice them thinly.
- 2. Mix the ketchup in a small bowl with a pinch of bourbon vanilla extract.
- 3. Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Fry two slices of bread at a time on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- 4. Remove the skillet from the heat. Spread the vanilla ketchup mixture evenly onto two of the fried bread slices. Place the cheese slices on top.
- 5. Place the egg slices and arugula on top of the cheese. Cover the sandwich with the remaining two bread slices. Press down gently.
- 6. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately while warm.
