Ingredients
- 400 g Beef (shin)
- 2 Carrots
- 2 Onions
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 500 ml Red wine
- 300 ml Beef broth
- 100 g Bacon
- 150 g Mushrooms
- 1 TL Thyme
- 1 Bay leaf
Instructions
- 1. Cut beef into cubes and brown in bacon fat.
- 2. Add onions, carrots, and garlic, sauté briefly.
- 3. Deglaze with red wine and bring to a boil.
- 4. Add beef broth, thyme, and bay leaf.
- 5. Let simmer for at least 2 hours.
- 6. Add mushrooms and simmer for another 30 minutes.
- 7. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
