0.5 celeriac (sliced)

Instructions
1. Prepare the marinade by mixing 0.75 l of cold water, 0.75 l of herbal vinegar, 3 tablespoons of salt, 6 tablespoons of sugar, a pinch of fish seasoning, and ground pepper in a pot.
2. Bring the marinade to a boil.
3. Let the herrings marinate in it for at least two days.
4. Slice the onion into thin rings.
5. Add the onion rings to the marinated herrings.
6. Serve the dish cold.
