🍖 Beef and Ale Pie

Ingredients
- 300g flour
- 300g beef
- 200ml ale
- 100g carrots
- 1 onion
- 50g butter
- 1tl thyme
- 1tl salt
- 1tl pepper
Instructions
- 1. Cube beef, season with salt and pepper.
- 2. Sauté onion and carrots in butter, add beef and sear.
- 3. Add ale and herbs, simmer for 1 hour.
- 4. Make the pastry, press half into a pie dish.
- 5. Fill with mixture, cover with remaining pastry.
- 6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 50 minutes.
