  3. 3. Add ale and herbs, simmer for 1 hour.
  4. 4. Make the pastry, press half into a pie dish.
  5. 5. Fill with mixture, cover with remaining pastry.
  6. 6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 50 minutes.
