Ingredients
- 200g Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 3 Zehen Garlic
- 2 EL gehackt Parsley
- 30g Butter
- 1 EL Lemon juice
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. This takes about 3 minutes.
- 2. Pat 200 g of shrimp dry with paper towels. Never rinse them, or they’ll become watery.
- 3. Peel 3 cloves of garlic. Remove the hard germ inside each clove.
- 4. Chop the garlic very finely. This ensures the flavour spreads evenly.
- 5. Chop the parsley finely. Set aside a small spoonful for garnish.
- 6. Melt 30 g of butter in a small pan over medium heat. Don't let it brown.
- 7. Add the chopped garlic to the butter. Fry it for 1 minute, until fragrant.
- 8. Remove the pan from the heat. Add the parsley, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
- 9. Mix the butter sauce well. It should now smell creamy and aromatic.
- 10. Place the dry shrimp in a bowl. Pour the butter sauce over them.
- 11. Toss the shrimp until they are completely coated with the sauce.
- 12. Place the shrimp in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are in a single, even layer.
- 13. Cook the shrimp at 180 °C for 8 minutes, until golden brown. Turn them over after 4 minutes.
- 14. Check if they’re done: The shrimp should be pink and opaque. Don't overcook them.
- 15. Remove the basket. Let the shrimp rest in the basket for 2 minutes. This helps redistribute the juices.
- 16. Serve the shrimp immediately. Sprinkle with the remaining parsley. They are ready when they smell delicious.
