  1. 1. Dissolve the squid ink in a small amount of warm fish broth.
  2. 2. Fry the finely chopped garlic in olive oil until golden brown.
  3. 3. Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.
  4. 4. Add the rice and stir until it turns whitish.
  5. 5. Pour in the remaining fish broth and the ink mixture.
  6. 6. Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes without stirring.
  7. 7. Press the squid and shrimp into the rice.
  8. 8. Cook for another 8 minutes on low heat.
  9. 9. Remove from heat, sprinkle with parsley and let rest for 5 minutes.
