  2. 2. Peel the apples, remove the core, and cut them into small cubes.
  3. 3. Distribute the bread cubes and apple pieces evenly in the baking dish.
  4. 4. Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, and cinnamon together in a large bowl until the sugar is dissolved.
  5. 5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread and apples. Gently press the bread so it absorbs the liquid. Let it soak for 15 minutes.
  6. 6. Place the dish in the oven. Bake the casserole for 40 to 45 minutes until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  7. 7. Remove the casserole from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving warm.
