🍝 Homemade Albóndigas in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 500 g Beef mince (low fat)
- 30 g Breadcrumbs
- 30 ml Milk
- 1 Stk Egg (Size M)
- 10 g Garlic (chopped)
- 100 g Onion (diced)
- 400 g Canned tomatoes (crushed)
- 100 ml Beef broth
- 20 ml Olive oil
- 5 g Dry mix (salt, pepper, oregano)
Instructions
- 1. Mix breadcrumbs with milk in a small bowl and let soak for 5 minutes.
- 2. Knead mince, soaked breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, and half of the dry spices in a large bowl.
- 3. Form approx. 20 small meatballs (Albóndigas) by hand.
- 4. Sauté onions in olive oil in a large pot until translucent.
- 5. Brown meatballs on all sides for approx. 5 minutes until firm.
- 6. Add canned tomatoes, beef broth, and remaining spices. Cover pot and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
- 7. Let sauce reduce slightly, adjust seasoning, and serve with fresh parsley.
