🍝 Homemade Meatballs in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 500 g Beef mince
- 50 g Breadcrumbs
- 30 ml Milk
- 2 Stück Garlic cloves
- 1 Stück (150 g) Onion
- 400 g Tomatoes (can)
- 100 ml Beef stock
- 30 ml Olive oil
- 5 g Paprika powder (sweet)
- 8 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Soak breadcrumbs with milk and squeeze dry.
- 2. Dice onion and garlic finely.
- 3. Mix minced meat with soaked breadcrumbs, half the onion, garlic, salt and pepper.
- 4. With wet hands, form approx. 20 equal-sized meatballs.
- 5. Heat olive oil in a large pot and brown meatballs on all sides.
- 6. Add remaining onion and sweat until translucent.
- 7. Add tomatoes, beef stock and paprika powder and bring to a boil.
- 8. Return meatballs to the sauce, cover with lid and simmer on low heat for approx. 25 minutes.
- 9. Season sauce to taste and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
