🍽️ Airfryer Tuna Steaks with Avocado Salsa

Ingredients
- 200g Tuna Steaks
- 1 Avocados
- 1 Onion
- 1 Garlic Clove
- 1 EL Lemon Juice
- 2 EL Olive Oil
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Wash your hands thoroughly before working with raw fish.
- 2. Pat the 200g tuna steaks dry with paper towels.
- 3. Season the steaks on both sides with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper.
- 4. Halve the avocado, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh.
- 5. Dice the avocado flesh into small, approximately 1 cm cubes.
- 6. Peel the onion and dice it finely.
- 7. Peel the garlic clove and chop it very finely.
- 8. Combine the avocado, onion, and garlic in a bowl.
- 9. Add 1 tbsp lemon juice and the 2 tbsp olive oil to the mixture.
- 10. Season the salsa with a little more salt and pepper.
- 11. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C until it signals it’s ready.
- 12. Place the tuna steaks in the basket and close it.
- 13. Cook the fish at 200 °C for 4 minutes, carefully flipping the steaks halfway through (after 2 minutes).
- 14. Remove the steaks and let them rest for 2 minutes.
- 15. Slice the steaks into thick pieces and serve them with the salsa.
