Ingredients
- 200g Tuna Steaks
- 1 Avocado
- 150g Cherry Tomatoes
- 50g Arugula
- 1 EL Lemon Juice
- 2 EL Olive Oil
- 1 Zwiebel Garlic
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. This takes about 3 minutes.
- 2. Pat the tuna steaks dry with paper towels. Never wash them, or they’ll become mushy.
- 3. Season the steaks with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper. Rub the seasoning in well.
- 4. Place the steaks in the air fryer basket. Make sure they don't touch.
- 5. Cook the tuna at 180 °C for 6 minutes. Flip the steaks halfway through. It should still be pink inside.
- 6. Remove the steaks and let them rest for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.
- 7. Cut the avocado in half lengthwise and remove the pit.
- 8. Dice the avocado flesh into small cubes. Put them in a bowl.
- 9. Halve the 150 g cherry tomatoes. Add them to the avocado cubes.
- 10. Add the arugula to the bowl. Squeeze 1 tbsp lemon juice over it.
- 11. Pour 2 tbsp olive oil over the salad. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- 12. Finely chop the red onion and the garlic clove. Sprinkle them over the salad.
- 13. Slice the tuna steaks into thick slices. Arrange them on the salad.
- 14. Serve the dish immediately. The fish should be warm and the salad fresh.
