Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. This takes about 3 minutes.
  2. 2. Pat the 200 g salmon fillet dry with paper towels. Never wash it, or it will become mushy.
  3. 3. Season the salmon with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper. Rub the seasoning in well.
  4. 4. Place the salmon in the air fryer basket. Cook it for 10 minutes at 180 °C, until it flakes easily with a fork.
  5. 5. Peel the avocado and remove the pit. Dice the pulp into cubes.
  6. 6. Mash the avocado cubes in a bowl with a fork. Leave it slightly chunky.
  7. 7. Finely chop 1 bunch of dill. Make sure no large leaves remain.
  8. 8. Juice the lemon. Take the juice of half a lemon for the sauce.
  9. 9. Mix the avocado with 2 tbsp sour cream, the dill, and lemon juice. Season to taste.
  10. 10. Remove the salmon from the air fryer. Flake it into bite-sized pieces. Let it rest briefly.
  11. 11. Place the 4 slices of white bread in the air fryer basket. Toast them for 2 minutes at 180 °C, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  12. 12. Spread the avocado-dill sauce generously on two slices of bread. Use all of it.
  13. 13. Distribute the salmon pieces on the clean bread slices. Place them in the center of the bread.
  14. 14. Cover the topped slices with the clean slices. Press them lightly.
  15. 15. Place the sandwiches in the air fryer. Cook them for 3 minutes at 180 °C, until the bread is just warm and not crispier.
  16. 16. Take the sandwiches out. Cut them diagonally. The salmon is juicy and the bread is warm.
