Ingredients
- 200g Beef tenderloin steak
- 2 EL Olive oil
- 2 Zehen Garlic
- 1 Bund Rosemary
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C. Select the 'Grill' or 'Convection' function.
- 2. Pat the 200 g beef fillet steaks dry with paper towels. Never wash them, or the meat will become mushy.
- 3. Peel the 2 garlic cloves. Dice them very finely so they don’t burn.
- 4. Rinse the bunch of rosemary quickly. Pluck the needles from the woody stems.
- 5. Chop the rosemary needles finely. Make sure no large pieces remain.
- 6. Mix the 2 tbsp olive oil with the chopped garlic and rosemary in a small bowl.
- 7. Rub the steaks with the herb-oil mixture. Ensure all sides are coated.
- 8. Sprinkle 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper evenly over both sides of the steaks.
- 9. Place the steaks in the air fryer basket. Make sure they don’t touch.
- 10. Cook the steaks at 200 °C for 8 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until golden brown.
- 11. Remove the steaks and place them on a warm board. Wipe the air fryer basket briefly.
- 12. Let the steaks rest uncovered for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to distribute evenly throughout the meat.
- 13. Slice the steaks against the grain. The meat should be pink inside and crispy outside.
- 14. To serve: Arrange the slices on plates. Drizzle with the remaining herb-oil from the bowl.
