Ingredients
- 400g Chicken wings
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
- 1 TL Garlic powder
- 4 EL Honey-Sriracha Sauce
- 2 EL Olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Pat 400 g chicken wings dry with paper towels. Never wash them, or they’ll get soggy.
- 2. Put the wings in a large bowl. Sprinkle 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, and 1 tsp garlic powder over them.
- 3. Turn the wings with your hands until they’re evenly seasoned. Make sure to get into every crevice.
- 4. Mix 4 tbsp Honey-Sriracha sauce with 2 tbsp olive oil in a small bowl. Stir until smooth.
- 5. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C using top and bottom heat. This takes about 3 minutes preheating time.
- 6. Place the seasoned wings in the air fryer basket. Make sure they don’t touch each other.
- 7. Cook the wings at 180 °C for 10 minutes, until the skin is firm and lightly browned.
- 8. Open the basket and flip the wings with tongs. Fry for another 10 minutes until crispy.
- 9. Remove the wings when they are golden brown and crispy. A knife should pierce them easily.
- 10. Put the hot wings directly into the bowl with the Honey-Sriracha sauce. Toss immediately.
- 11. Turn the wings until each side is thickly and evenly coated with the sauce.
- 12. Put the glazed wings back into the air fryer. Cook for another 2 minutes at 180 °C.
- 13. Take the wings out and let them rest for 2 minutes. This helps the sauce stick better.
- 14. Serve the wings hot on a plate. Ideally, the sauce should shine and cling.
