Instructions

  1. 1. Pat 400 g chicken wings dry with paper towels. Never wash them, or they’ll get soggy.
  2. 2. Put the wings in a large bowl. Sprinkle 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, and 1 tsp garlic powder over them.
  3. 3. Turn the wings with your hands until they’re evenly seasoned. Make sure to get into every crevice.
  4. 4. Mix 4 tbsp Honey-Sriracha sauce with 2 tbsp olive oil in a small bowl. Stir until smooth.
  5. 5. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C using top and bottom heat. This takes about 3 minutes preheating time.
  6. 6. Place the seasoned wings in the air fryer basket. Make sure they don’t touch each other.
  7. 7. Cook the wings at 180 °C for 10 minutes, until the skin is firm and lightly browned.
  8. 8. Open the basket and flip the wings with tongs. Fry for another 10 minutes until crispy.
  9. 9. Remove the wings when they are golden brown and crispy. A knife should pierce them easily.
  10. 10. Put the hot wings directly into the bowl with the Honey-Sriracha sauce. Toss immediately.
  11. 11. Turn the wings until each side is thickly and evenly coated with the sauce.
  12. 12. Put the glazed wings back into the air fryer. Cook for another 2 minutes at 180 °C.
  13. 13. Take the wings out and let them rest for 2 minutes. This helps the sauce stick better.
  14. 14. Serve the wings hot on a plate. Ideally, the sauce should shine and cling.
