🍽️ Airfryer Cheese Potato Puffs

Ingredients
- 300g Potatoes
- 100g Cheddar
- 2 Eggs
- 50g Flour
- 1 TL Baking Powder
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel the 300 g potatoes and remove all eyes.
- 2. Cut the potatoes into small, approximately 2 cm cubes.
- 3. Cook the potato cubes in salted water for about 15 minutes, until they are tender.
- 4. Drain the water and let the potatoes drain for 2 minutes.
- 5. Purée the hot potatoes into a smooth mash.
- 6. Grate the 100 g cheddar finely and fold it into the mash.
- 7. Crack the 2 eggs lightly in a separate bowl.
- 8. Mix the flour with the baking powder, salt and pepper.
- 9. Add the flour mixture and the eggs to the potato-cheddar dough.
- 10. Knead everything into a workable dough and divide it into 8 portions.
- 11. Shape the portions into compact balls and place them in the air fryer.
- 12. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C until it is ready.
- 13. Bake the puffs for about 12 minutes, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 14. Let the puffs sit in the air fryer for 3 minutes to firm up.
- 15. Carefully remove the puffs and serve them immediately.
- 16. Check for success: The surface should be crispy and not soft.
