Ingredients
- 200g Tuna Steaks
- 1 Avocados
- 1 Bund Cilantro
- 1 EL Lemon Juice
- 1 Zehe Garlic
- 2 EL Olive Oil
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. This takes about 3 min. Important: Preheating is mandatory for the crust.
- 2. Pat the 200 g tuna steaks dry with kitchen paper. Moisture prevents browning.
- 3. Rub the steaks with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper. Ensure even distribution.
- 4. Halve the 1 avocado and remove the pit. Scoop the flesh into a bowl.
- 5. Finely chop the 1 bunch of cilantro. Coarse pieces disrupt the creamy dip.
- 6. Press the 1 clove of garlic directly into the bowl with the avocado.
- 7. Add 1 tbsp lemon juice and 2 tbsp olive oil to the bowl. Acid prevents browning.
- 8. Blend the dip ingredients until smooth. The consistency should be like cream.
- 9. Place the tuna steaks in the air fryer basket. Do not let them overlap.
- 10. Cook the steaks at 180 °C for 8 min. The inside remains pink (medium).
- 11. Remove the steaks and let them rest for 2 min. This distributes the juices.
- 12. Place the steaks on plates and serve with the dip. Done-test: The tuna is juicy.
