🍽️ Air Fryer Potato Gratin with Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 500 g Potatoes
- 200 g Mushrooms
- 2 Shallots
- 200 ml Cream
- 100 g Gruyère
- 50 g Butter
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel the 500 g potatoes and slice them to about 3 mm thick.
- 2. Pat the 200 g mushrooms dry and slice them thinly.
- 3. Peel the 2 shallots and chop them finely.
- 4. Cut the 50 g butter into small cubes.
- 5. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 6. Sauté the shallots in the butter in a pan until they are translucent.
- 7. Add the mushrooms and fry them for 3 minutes, until they release their liquid.
- 8. In a bowl, mix the potato slices with the 200 ml cream.
- 9. Season the potato-cream mixture with 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper.
- 10. Stir the mushroom-shallot mixture into the potatoes.
- 11. Pour the mixture into a heatproof dish for the air fryer.
- 12. Spread the grated Gruyère evenly over the surface.
- 13. Bake the gratin for 40 minutes at 180 °C, until the surface is golden brown.
- 14. Let the gratin rest for 5 minutes so the sauce thickens.
- 15. Serve the gratin directly from the dish.
- 16. It’s perfect when a knife slides easily into the potatoes.
