🍽️ Air Fryer Meatballs with Lemon-Dill Sauce

Ingredients
- 500g Ground Beef
- 1 Onion
- 2 Garlic Clove
- 1 Bund Parsley
- 50g Breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg
- 2 EL Lemon Juice
- 1 Bund Dill
- 100ml Cream
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. This takes about 3 minutes.
- 2. Wash the onion and the 2 garlic cloves under cold water.
- 3. Peel the 2 garlic cloves.
- 4. Chop the onion and the 2 garlic cloves very finely.
- 5. Wash 1 bunch of parsley and 1 bunch of dill.
- 6. Pluck the dill leaves from the stems and chop both herbs finely.
- 7. Pat the 500g ground beef dry with paper towels.
- 8. Put the ground beef, the onions and the garlic into a large bowl.
- 9. Add the 50g breadcrumbs, the egg, the parsley, 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper.
- 10. Knead the mixture with your hands for about 1 minute, until it is smooth.
- 11. Form about 12 to 14 equal-sized balls (about 40g each).
- 12. Place the balls in the air fryer basket, without touching each other.
- 13. Cook the balls at 180 °C for about 12 minutes, until they are golden brown. Turn them after 6 minutes.
- 14. Take the balls out and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- 15. Mix the 100ml cream, 2 tbsp lemon juice and the remaining dill in a small bowl.
- 16. Place the balls on plates and pour the sauce over them. It’s ready when the balls are firm.
