Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. This takes about 3 minutes.
  2. 2. Peel the onion and dice it finely.
  3. 3. Peel the 2 garlic cloves and press them through a press.
  4. 4. Wash 1 bunch of parsley and chop the leaves finely.
  5. 5. Pat the 500 g ground beef dry with paper towels.
  6. 6. Put the ground beef, onion, and garlic into a large bowl.
  7. 7. Add the chopped parsley, 1 egg, 100 g breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon pepper.
  8. 8. Knead the mixture with your hands for about 2 minutes, until it’s firm and smooth.
  9. 9. Form the mixture into 20 equal-sized balls, each about 30 g.
  10. 10. Place the balls in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t touch.
  11. 11. Cook the balls at 180 °C for about 12 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are golden brown.
  12. 12. Let the balls rest in the basket for 3 minutes so the juices redistribute.
  13. 13. Serve the balls hot. They’re perfect when they’re crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
