🍽️ Air Fryer Herb Meatballs with Yogurt

Ingredients
- 500g Ground Beef
- 2 EL Parsley
- 1 EL Dill
- 1 Onion
- 2 Zehen Garlic
- 1 Egg
- 50g Bread Crumbs
- 200g Yogurt
- 1 EL Lemon Juice
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. This takes about 3 minutes.
- 2. Wash the onion and the 2 garlic cloves under cold water.
- 3. Peel the paper-like skin from the 2 garlic cloves.
- 4. Chop the onion and the 2 garlic cloves very finely.
- 5. Wash the parsley and the dill and shake them dry.
- 6. Chop the parsley and the dill finely and set them aside.
- 7. Pat the 500g ground beef dry with paper towels.
- 8. Put the ground beef, the egg, and the breadcrumbs into a large bowl.
- 9. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and herbs.
- 10. Season with 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper.
- 11. Knead the mixture well with your hands until it’s smooth.
- 12. Form about 20 equal-sized balls with your hands.
- 13. Place the balls in the air fryer basket without touching each other.
- 14. Cook the balls at 180 °C for 10 minutes, until they are golden brown.
- 15. Carefully flip the balls with tongs.
- 16. Cook them for another 5 minutes, until they are golden brown.
- 17. Mix the yogurt, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- 18. Remove the balls and let them rest for 2 minutes.
- 19. Serve the balls with the herb yogurt. They are ready when they are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
