Ingredients
- 200g Beef Filet Steak
- 50g Butter
- 2 Zehen Garlic
- 2 Zweige Rosemary
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel 2 garlic cloves and chop them finely.
- 2. Pluck the needles from 2 sprigs of rosemary and chop them small.
- 3. Melt 50 g butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- 4. Add the chopped garlic and rosemary to the butter and fry for 1 minute, until fragrant. Be careful not to brown it, or it will become bitter.
- 5. Take the 200 g beef fillet steaks and pat them dry with paper towels. Never wash them, or they will boil instead of sear.
- 6. Season the steaks with 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper on both sides.
- 7. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C. This takes about 3 minutes and is important for the crust.
- 8. Place the steaks in the air fryer basket. Make sure they don't touch.
- 9. Cook the steaks in the air fryer at 200 °C for 8 minutes for medium. Flip them once halfway through (after 4 minutes) until they are golden brown.
- 10. Remove the steaks from the air fryer and place them on a plate.
- 11. Pour the warm rosemary-garlic butter evenly over the steaks.
- 12. Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute and keeps the meat tender.
- 13. Serve the steaks with the remaining butter dip. It's perfect when the meat is pink and tender.
