Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 1. Pat the 200 g salmon fillet dry with paper towels. Never wash it, or it will become mushy.
  2. 2. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. This takes about 3 minutes.
  3. 3. Wash the 10 g parsley and the 10 g dill under cold water.
  4. 4. Dry the herbs well and chop them finely. Wet herbs will spoil the butter.
  5. 5. Soften the 30 g lemon butter at room temperature. It needs to be spreadable.
  6. 6. Mix the softened lemon butter with the finely chopped herb mix in a small bowl.
  7. 7. Stir 1 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp olive oil into the herb butter.
  8. 8. Season the butter mixture with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  9. 9. Place the dry salmon in the air fryer basket. Lay it flat, don't stack it.
  10. 10. Spread the entire herb butter evenly over the top of the salmon. Cover it completely.
  11. 11. Cook the salmon in the air fryer at 180 °C for 10 minutes. The butter will melt and smell wonderful.
  12. 12. Open the basket and carefully flip the salmon over. The underside will now cook.
  13. 13. Cook the salmon for another 5 minutes at 180 °C. It will become opaque and flaky.
  14. 14. Take the salmon out and let it rest for 2 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.
  15. 15. Place the salmon on a plate. It’s perfect when you can easily flake it with a fork.
