Ingredients
- 200g Salmon fillet
- 30g Lemon butter
- 10g Fresh parsley
- 10g Fresh dill
- 1 EL Lemon juice
- 1 EL Olive oil
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Pat the 200 g salmon fillet dry with paper towels. Never wash it, or it will become mushy.
- 2. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. This takes about 3 minutes.
- 3. Wash the 10 g parsley and the 10 g dill under cold water.
- 4. Dry the herbs well and chop them finely. Wet herbs will spoil the butter.
- 5. Soften the 30 g lemon butter at room temperature. It needs to be spreadable.
- 6. Mix the softened lemon butter with the finely chopped herb mix in a small bowl.
- 7. Stir 1 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp olive oil into the herb butter.
- 8. Season the butter mixture with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning.
- 9. Place the dry salmon in the air fryer basket. Lay it flat, don't stack it.
- 10. Spread the entire herb butter evenly over the top of the salmon. Cover it completely.
- 11. Cook the salmon in the air fryer at 180 °C for 10 minutes. The butter will melt and smell wonderful.
- 12. Open the basket and carefully flip the salmon over. The underside will now cook.
- 13. Cook the salmon for another 5 minutes at 180 °C. It will become opaque and flaky.
- 14. Take the salmon out and let it rest for 2 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.
- 15. Place the salmon on a plate. It’s perfect when you can easily flake it with a fork.
