  1. 1. Cook spaghetti in a large pot of salted water until al dente.
  2. 2. While the pasta is cooking, warm olive oil in a pan and add the chopped garlic.
  3. 3. Sauté the garlic until it turns golden, but be careful not to burn it.
  4. 4. Add chili flakes and sauté for a short time.
  5. 5. Drain the cooked spaghetti and add it to the pan with the garlic and oil.
  6. 6. Combine everything well and sprinkle in the chopped parsley.
  7. 7. Season with salt to taste and serve with Parmesan if desired.
